    Emory & Henry College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award Baccalaureate, and Master's degrees.

  • Size

    Emory & Henry enrolls 939 undergraduate students and 43 students in the College's graduate programs. 79.8 percent of our students live on campus. The current first-year class size is 277.

    The student-to-teacher ratio is 10:1 and 75 percent of our classes have fewer than 20 students.

  • Tuition

  • Academic Programs

    Emory & Henry's liberal arts curriculum spans more than 26 programs of study, including our interdisciplinary programs, which allow students to combine classes from more than one subject area to create a more specialized major.

  • Financial Aid & Scholarships

    A variety of merit scholarships and need-based grants offered. Approximately 98 percent of all students receive financial aid and 84 percent receive need-based financial aid. The average award to our incoming first-year students including only grants and scholarships is $18,000.

  • Faculty

    The College has 69 full time faculty members and 81 percent of those have terminal degrees. In the last two decades 20 faculty members have been honored with national or state awards.

  • Students

    The mean combined (math and verbal) SAT scores of E&H students is 1002. The middle 50 percent SAT Math score of enrolled students is 433-560 and the middle 50 percent SAT verbal score is 440-558. The College's current acceptance rate is 71%. 45% percent of enrolled students graduated in the top 25 percent of their senior class.

  • Athletics

    Emory & Henry participates in NCAA Division III, is a member of the respected Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC), and fields teams in men's football, soccer, basketball, baseball, cross country and tennis, and in women's cross country, volleyball, basketball, softball, soccer, tennis and swimming.
