Academic Support

The Academic Support Services Office is located in the Paul Adrian Powell III Resource Center, along with the offices of Counseling Services and Career Services. Academic support is available to all Emory & Henry students at no charge. Services include academic counseling, upperclass mentoring, disability services, skill development workshops and peer tutoring.

Along with the Quantitative Literacy Center and the College's Writing Center, Emory & Henry's Academic Support Services maintains peer tutors for every academic program. Support Programs also include workshops, which are open to all students and are designed to help students improve their study skills, test taking skill, time management, or to improve motivation, organization and independence. There are also special topics on reducing test anxiety, stress management, learning styles and much more.
