E&H Access Grant
Emory & Henry Access Grant is a need-based grant to assist students with financial need. Need is determined based on the results of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. The award is subject to change based on receipt of additional assistance from outside sources which may cover a student's need. E&H Access Grant applies only to tuition. Award will be reduced or possibly eliminated for students enrolled at less than full-time enrollment (12 semester hours per semester). The annual award will be applied half in the fall and half in the spring.
Holston Conference Matching Grant
Emory & Henry College will match any bona fide scholarship awarded by the student’s home Holston Conference United Methodist Church up to $1,500 per year.
Endowed & Non–Endowed Scholarships
Many alumni and other generous donors have given substantial funds to Emory & Henry College to assist students in achieving their dream of a college education. Students are not required to file applications for consideration of these scholarships. These scholarships will become the source of funds for other academic merit or need based grants for selected students. Recipients of these scholarships will be notified by either the CSA Office or the Office of Institutional Advancement. They may be asked to write a thank-you note to the donor of their scholarship and attend a benefactors' event.
Emory & Henry College will award a Legacy Grant beginning with new students who enter the fall 2014 academic year. Students will be eligible for the grant if a family member (defined as parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, sibling) has attended Emory & Henry College for at least one full academic year. In the case of a sibling who is a current student in their first year of study, the sibling who follows will receive the legacy grant provided their brother/sister completes the first full year of study at E&H. The grant will be reflected in the financial aid award letter in the amount of $500, and is renewable for a total of four academic years.
