August Holiday Sites

August has no major holidays, but it has some significant anniversaries and birthdays.  For example, did you know, that except for October (six), August and November tie for having the most presidential birthdays (five)?

August is:

National Peach Month (http://www.scpeach.com/museum.htm)
National Catfish Month (http://www.planetcatfish.com/)
National Picnic Month (http://www.foodtimeline.org/foodpicnics.html)
National Golf Month (http://www.golf.com/golf/).

So have a picnic with catfish and peach pie on the menu.  Then go play some golf.
