Biography

A native of Roanoke, Virginia, Carter Aylor graduated from Emory & Henry in 2014 and began his professional career shortly thereafter as an Admissions Counselor.  Carter works with students from the State of Tennessee and from the Commonwealth of Virginia. Specifically, Carter's Virginia territory includes the counties of Alleghany, Augusta, Bath, Bedford, Botetourt, Craig, Franklin, Henry, Highland, Pittsylvania, Roanoke, and Rockbridge and the cities of Bedford, Covington, Danville, Martinsville, Roanoke, Salem, Staunton, and Waynesboro.  .

While he was a student at Emory & Henry, Carter was an active member of the Dom-I-Necher social fraternity, served as the Treasurer of the Student Government Association, and was a work-study for the Office of Institutional Advancement.  Furthermore, Carter completed his undergraduate honors thesis in History titled Jedediah Hotchkiss: Pioneering a Legacy for the New South.  In his free time Carter loves to travel and spend time outside by going hiking and fishing.
