Guides & Publicatons
The library has prepared several guides for specific classes, as well as guides to doing research in different subject areas.

Tutorials
The library provides a number of tutorials designed to give you a greater understanding of basic research principles and the use of specific online databases and internet search engines.

Research Assistance
Students needing assistance with a research assignment may stop by the Reference Desk in Kelly Library or email a question to Ask a Librarian to talk with a professional librarian about the project.  Those students who are working on a major research project who need in-depth research assistance may want to contact the Head of Reference Services at (276) 944-6209 to schedule a one-on-one consultation with one of our professional reference librarians.
